Our house – the frame around our everyday activities – is undergoing great changes. Life patterns have changed and will continue to change in the future. Our wishes and needs become more individualized, pointing in many directions. At the same time we can observe that we still have some common basic needs, which have to be fulfilled within our own 4 walls. These conditions suggest a modern, non static form of space. An ever changing space where repetition (basic needs) meets variation (individual needs).
