The vision for this structure is to design a covered space that provides shelter from rain and wind, while at the same time being open and light. In this melting pot in the center of Copenhagen a variety of different sport activities can take place, as well as cross cultural public events. The facades of the building are made of steel frames clad in perforated steel sheets decorated with motives from the world of sports. The roof is a tensile structure which is stretched between the long facades. The rhythmic gable motives are inspired by the old industrial buildings in the neighborhood.
