The extension of the old theatre building is simple and clear in its idea and construction. Two earlier extensions to the theatre are removed to expose a beautiful old façade. A modern glass façade is added, like a transparent stage curtain, exposing the existing old façade deep inside the interior of the building. The joyful activities inside the new extension are exposed, reconnecting the theatre to its surroundings, the tree lined Frederiksberg Avenue.
